The oldest and only remaining solo screen cinema. With 250 luxury pullman seats. The cinema backs on to the village hall where the beatles played their first gig A focal point for the Magical Mystery Bus Tour
Established for over 70 years, this popular but compact cinema has a unique retro appearance. Hidden away up a steep side street in the picturesque Woolton Village, the small foyer, box office and confectionary stand lead up to a cosy screen area, which is almost like someone's living room. Despite the fact there is just the one screen, all the latest mainstream releases appear here and children's matinees are shown most weekends.
